How
do members' details remain up to date?
A:
Every six months we send each member a copy of their record,
and ask them to update their details. We also ask members
to let us know if their details change at other times - for
example when they move to a new job, change address, or take
on new responsibilities.
Q: Can
I introduce my colleagues to CHAIN?
A:
Yes, but they will need to join as individuals. CHAIN is a
network of people, not organisations. Use the online joining
form or contact the CHAIN office for paper forms.
Q If I
join one CHAIN, do I automatically become a member of all
the others?
A:
No. You can search all
the CHAIN directories, but you will only receive information
relating to the CHAIN(s) you belong to. By carefully targeting
the information we send out, we can avoid sending you irrelevant
messages.
Q: Can
I join more than one CHAIN?
A:
Yes.
Q: Can people
working in the private sector join CHAIN?
A:
Yes, provided they agree not to use the CHAIN network for
commercial purposes.
